Replacement Tub for Acute Care

A critical need has been identified for the replacement of the existing tub and lift system in the tub room of the Acute Care Wing at the Bow Island Health Centre. The current system, which has been in use for several years, is now outdated and has become increasingly unreliable. Furthermore, due to the age of the equipment, repair parts are increasingly difficult to come by, making it harder to maintain its functionality and ensure patient safety. The lack of an efficient and modern tub and lift system poses a significant challenge for both patients and healthcare providers, particularly for those requiring mobility assistance.
In response to this issue, the Bow Island & District Health Foundation has recognized the importance of upgrading this essential equipment. The Foundation had established a fund some time ago to support healthcare projects within the community, and it is now focusing its efforts on raising the necessary funds for this much-needed replacement. By upgrading the tub and lift system, the Health Centre will be able to continue providing high-quality care to patients, improving their comfort and safety during their stay.
